Once, a girl asked a Moon Man.
"Moon Man, why are you so old?"
The Moon Man replied, "I'm not old, little girl. You're just way too young for me."
There was an awkward silence between them. They have known they could not be together. The love between them don't stand a chance. They knew it all along.
"But tell me, Moon Man, if I come back again in the future," the girl was trying to convince the Moon Man, "and I will come back, will you still get older?"
The Moon Man laughed. This girl is naive and pure beyond compare, he thought. But who cares, this is why I liked her in the first place. The Moon Man smiled at her.
"I will wait for you," also sounded as convincing as the little girl, "and no, I won't get older."
The girl looked satisfied with his answer. This is just what she wanted to hear from her lovely Moon Man.
"Allright, Moon Man, I promise you. I will return. By the time I turn as an adult. As a true lady, just like my mother."
The Moon Man came closer to the little girl, and hugged her for quite a long time.
"And I promise you, my little lady, I will not go anywhere. I will always be your Moon Man."
The little girl was about to cry because she had to leave her very first love. And she realized that the time will come. The time when she and her true love are going to spend every moment together.
Together in eternity, serene life on the moon.
P.S.: Lol sorry for this random post, this short story just popped in my head a couple hours ago x] this story is kinda pointless and unclear, yet I like the idea of the little girl's first love with a Moon Man. So sweet and random.
